Want’s pricing is designed to be simple and predictable. The Service charges one fee, for one action, and takes no share of any transaction between users.

1. What Want charges

  1. Posting Fee: ninety-nine US cents (US$0.99) per posted Want, plus any applicable sales tax. The fee is charged at the time you publish the Want and is a fee for the service of publishing the listing — not a commission and not a deposit.
  2. How it is billed depends on where you publish. On the web, the Posting Fee is paid via Stripe. On iOS, the Posting Fee is paid via Apple In-App Purchase (Consumable product com.creed.want.post_credit).

2. What Want does not charge

  1. No fee to browse or search Wants.
  2. No fee to reply to a Want with an offer.
  3. No fee to send or receive messages.
  4. No commission or percentage on any transaction between users. Want is not a party to those transactions and does not know whether or on what terms they close.
  5. No fee to create an account or delete an account.
  6. No subscription, membership, or featured-listing upsell in v1.

3. How the fee is billed

  1. Web. The Posting Fee is processed by Stripe. You will be charged in US dollars, on the payment method you provide at checkout. Your receipt is available from your account settings, and the charge on your statement will appear as SNAG or a similar descriptor.
  2. iOS. The Posting Fee is processed by Apple as an In-App Purchase (Consumable product com.creed.want.post_credit) and billed to the Apple ID on your device. Your receipt is available from your Apple account, and the charge on your statement will appear under Apple’s descriptor (e.g. APPLE.COM/BILL).
  3. The price on both surfaces is the same US$0.99, subject to Apple storefront rounding and tax handling on iOS.

4. REFUND POLICY

ALL POSTING FEES ARE FINAL AND NON-REFUNDABLE. WANT DOES NOT OFFER REFUNDS FOR ANY REASON.

This includes but is not limited to: mistakes, changed minds, expired listings, no seller response, dissatisfaction with results, duplicate posts, or accidental purchase. On the web, chargebacks initiated with your card issuer will be contested using the clickwrap acknowledgment recorded at the time of purchase and may result in permanent account suspension without further notice. On iOS, refund requests to Apple are governed by Apple’s refund policy — Want has no control over Apple’s decisions; however, if Apple issues a refund, the associated Want will be voided and repeat refunds may result in account suspension under our Terms of Service.

5. Taxes

  1. You are responsible for any taxes owed on transactions you conduct with other users off-platform.
  2. Want may collect and remit sales tax on the Posting Fee where required by law and will indicate any tax on your receipt.

6. Changes to fees

Want may change the Posting Fee at any time on a prospective basis. Wants already published at the prior price are not affected. If we introduce a new fee in the future, we will describe it clearly and require your consent before charging you for it.
