Philadelphia
Philadelphia furniture often has to survive a rowhome stairwell. Name the neighborhood — Fishtown, West Philly, South Philly, Northern Liberties — and whether you can pick up the same day.
New York City
Most NYC wants are apartment-scale. Mention the borough, the floor, and whether there is an elevator. A Brooklyn walk-up and a Manhattan elevator are different jobs for a seller.
Chicago
Chicago moves stack around lease dates. Note the neighborhood — Logan Square, Pilsen, Lakeview, Hyde Park — and whether winter pickup is realistic.
Austin
Austin has a lot of new arrivals furnishing a first place. East Austin, South Congress, North Loop, and the UT area are useful pickup notes. Be specific about stairs and parking.
Denver
Denver pickups span Highlands, RiNo, Capitol Hill, and Baker as often as the suburbs. Say if you can help carry, and whether the item has to fit a one-bedroom.
Houston
Houston is spread out. Heights, Montrose, Midtown, and EaDo pickups are different trips. Put the neighborhood and a budget you can actually pay on the Want.
Dallas
Dallas–Fort Worth wants work best with a neighborhood on them — Oak Lawn, Bishop Arts, Deep Ellum, Uptown — plus a budget. Sellers decide whether the drive is worth it.
