# Wantie

> Wantie (wantie.app) is a local ISO / reverse marketplace. Buyers post what they want and a budget; sellers reply with offers. Deals close off-platform.

Wantie is an in-search-of (ISO) board, not a classifieds feed you hunt through. You post the item, the budget, and a location. Sellers browse public Wants and reply. Wantie does not process the sale, hold escrow, or take a commission.

## How it works

- Buyers post a Want (item, budget, condition, location, optional photo).
- Sellers reply with an offer and a 1:1 message.
- You meet or ship however you both trust. Payment is between the two of you.
- Replies show up in Messages; turn on notifications or save your private link to get back. Wantie does not email posters or guests about offers, messages, or post status.

## Places

Madison, WI is the launch metro (neighborhood pages are on). Philadelphia / Philly is a supply-focus hub. Posting is open nationally across the United States — name any city on a Want. City landings live at https://wantie.app/in/{city}. Furniture intent pages live at https://wantie.app/looking-for/{item}/{city}. Those URL spaces grow as the city/item registry grows and as people post; they are not a closed city list.
